We’re Debra and Patrick, and in 2016 we opened the doors to Villa Azur. From the very first guest, we knew we’d found our calling. For us, hospitality isn’t just about providing a comfortable bed or a beautiful view - it’s about sharing stories, making connections, and helping people feel at home.
You’ll usually find us around the villa - whether it’s chatting with guests, recommending a local vineyard, or enjoying a glass of wine by the pool. We love getting to know people from all over the world, and every new arrival brings a story that inspires us.
Debra
Owner
After a long career in personal banking, Debra moved to the South of France to follow her dream of creating a welcoming place for guests. Warm, approachable, and always ready for a chat, she loves hearing where guests have come from and what adventures they’re planning.
Patrick
Host
Patrick designed and helped build Villa Azur after buying a plot of land just outside Lorgues. His love of travel began during his years as a British Airways air host, and his love of food developed while training as a chef and running several restaurants — including one in nearby Les Arcs. Today, those passions come together at Villa Azur, where he’s always happy to share a story, recommend a restaurant, or simply make sure guests feel at home.
